Viper SRT Cold Air Intake Released – Dyno Result & Video
Although the new 2013 SRT Viper V10 is light-years ahead of past models, there is ALWAYS room for improvement and customization. When you have a big block engine like a Viper SRT creating room for air flow is crucial for optimum performance. The new SRT still exudes the raw power you expect with a muscle car, but now has all the 21st century upgrades that are becoming standard in every vehicle. One of the first modifications we did when we got the SRT was the intake. A cold air intake helps you wrestle a few more horses out of the engine.
The The air intake kit is a complete replacement for the stock intake box. Feeding directly from the hood scoop, the new Agency Power intake gets its air via high flow aFe advanced cone air filters with front conical inlets. The filters feed into two separated 3.5 inch ID aluminum tubes with CNC machined sensor mounts. The tubes which are powdercoated wrinkled black, are joined together with a elegant CNC machined AP logo bridge plate. Finally, the intake connects to the stock intake manifold with a pair of AP logo silicone couplers.
You can see in the video that this intake is giving more than just a couple ponies to this Viper.
