Update on the Infamous KSR FR-S
Last month we released our partnership with Ken Stout Racing and the cutting edge FR-S supercharger. The FR-S hit the road for its first race last weekend. Reports from KSR say that although the race wasn’t as victorious as Robert Stout would have hoped, the knowledge gained about the FR-S was invaluable. The FR-S that gained a large following at SEMA was met with paralleled excitement,
“The paddock was so full of enthusiastic fans that we had to place a stanchion at the entrance to our paddock space to keep interested enthusiasts at bay while our crew was at work. Some fans had called the series ahead of time asking if we would be there with the FR-S, and one couple even told series officials that they would not attend the race unless we were there.” – Ken Stout
Everyone gawked over the only FR-S utilizing the TRD supercharger. This supercharger was conceived at SEMA when TRD and KSR announced that they would be creating this supercharger. Not too long after the announcement, KSR reached out to us about teaming up and getting our Agency Power header on there as well. They are still collecting data from the race but the potential of the car goes without saying. We are looking forward to more pictures, on-board camera footage, and other race footage. The preparations for the next appearance of the FR-S have already begun. The FR-S will be at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach on April 19-21. If you’re out that way, go check out our header, oh and the supercharger too. We want to say a special thank you to Ken Stout Racing, we appreciate the updates and look forward to sharing the success of the FR-S in the future.
If you have one of our products installed we want to hear about it. Tell us which part, send us a picture and let us know how it’s running for you. You can leave your comment here, on Facebook, Twitter or
