The Belly of the Beast.
A beast it is not, but as we step underneath we realize that this Scion seems to be just about all Subaru except for a few hood, fender, and trunk badges. It’s funny stepping under vehicle with this many Fuji stamps and not seeing any transfer case or front drive shafts but it still feels eerily familiar. The suspension seems very Subaru even though its BRZ counterpart will be fitted with a stiffer set of springs and softer shocks. This was no surprise as Subaru is credited with the power-train and chassis development where Toyota was in charge of the design with the only engine contribution being the D-4S combination port- and direct-fuel-injection system blah blah blah. We’ve all heard the reviews “it needs more power” MERICA! so lets show you some pictures of what were workin with here. We’ve mocked up some exhaust choice’s and we think we’ve got it (feedback is always appreciated) but we want to make sure it will create an esthetic improvement with both auditory and performance gains in mind. Let us know what you would like to see on our project! We would love to hear some feedback straight from the enthusiasts mouth.
