Tech Talk: Why Upgrade Your Vehicle’s End Links?
Agency Power has been engineering and manufacturing suspension components since 2004 for a wide variety of vehicles. Often overlooked when dialing in a vehicle’s suspension setup is the seemingly simple anti-roll bar end link. When a car is lowered, the suspension geometry changes, from control arm, tie rods, to even the sway bar geometry. To account for the new suspension height, adjustable anti-roll bar, or sway bar, end links are needed.
When a vehicle is lowered, the anti-roll bar angle changes due to the geometry change. Whether the anti-roll bar is linked to the shock or the control arm, the angle of the anti-roll bar will need to be adjusted to optimize traction.
Compounded with the need of adjustability, the Agency Power upgraded end links also add much-needed strength to the suspension system. Under high cornering loads, the end links are used to transfer the suspension load to reduce weight transfer to the outside tires and increasing traction through the turn.
