Like most turbocharged vehicles the biggest bottle neck holding back performance are the OEM catalytic converters. This restrictive design flattens down right at the turbo reducing the overall exhaust flow. We have solved this issue by developing our 200 cell Highflow Catted and Catless downpipe (RACE USE ONLY) that increases the overall diameter while maintaining a tubular design throughout. In our catted version, we have utilized high flow 200 cell catalytic converter that allow us to greatly improve the AMG’s performance while still remaining emission compliant. As tested on our CLA45, the upgraded highflow catted downpipe greatly increased the low end torque and mid to top end horsepower. The turbos spooled much sooner and it produced an aggressive exhaust note that made it even more of a blast to drive!
