How to Remove a Porsche PDK Steering Wheel
This is a pictorial on how to take apart your Porsche steering wheel in order to replace the stock wheel with a Agency Power Sport Steering Wheel.
1.There are two plugs that are connected from the car to the steering wheel. Disconnect those plugs.
2. Take note of the location of the 10 white bolts. Detach 10 white bolts (3 on the left, 3 on the right 4 on the bottom). Those bolts have hook-like edges on both sides that keep the steering wheel together. There are no screws, the hook-like edges act as a screw would.
3. For this next step, we suggest using kevlar cord, because it can withstand the most pressure. Take a piece of kevlar cord and carefully wedge the cord between the the upper and lower part of the center of the wheel (see blue arrows). Think of it as flossing the steering wheel pieces apart. Follow the red dotted line in the picture below to unhook the latched edges.
4. Repeat step three on all three sides until the steering wheel is in two separate pieces (see blue arrows).
Note: If Β you break one or two bolts, there are enough other bolts to still keep the module intact.
The finished product should look like the pictures below. In the second picture you can see one of the white bolts.
