This guide is to assist with the installation of the Agency Power Lower Intercooler Piping for the Ford Focus RS.
Always refer to vehicles service manual for torque specifications on OEM hardware.
Parts included:
1x Agency Power Lower Intercooler Pipe
2x Silicone Couplers
4x Worm Drive Hose Clamps
Step 1)
Securely lift the vehicle and remove all (4) wheels. Refer to your vehicles manual for proper lift (jack) points.
NEVER attempt to work under a vehicle that is not properly secured using jack stands. Failure to do so may result in serious bodily injury or death.
Step 2)
Remove the lower undertray. Use a Torx T-30 to remove the 10 torx screws as pictured below. There are also 2 plastic clips that will need to be removed located at the center of the undertray. Once all hardware and clips are removed, lower the undertray and set aside.
Step 3)
Loosen both intercooler pipe hose clamps from the turbocharger and intercooler.
Step 4)
Loosen and remove the two 10mm nuts and metal retaining washer, which secure the OEM intercooler piping to the bottom of the engine. Pull down on the intercooler pipe to free from the metal retaining washers and remove from vehicle. (Retain hardware for installation of the Agency Power Intercooler Piping)
Step 5)
Use the provided Silicone Couplers and attach them to the Agency Power Intercooler Pipe. Now install the new Agency Power Intercooler Pipe by sliding the couplers onto the turbocharger and intercooler.
Step 6)
Tighten the hose clamps and use re-use the two 10mm nuts that were removed during step 4. Insure the silicone couplers & hose clamps are properly in place before tightening them down. Reverse the steps above to complete the install.
Step 7)
Enjoy your new Agency Power Lower Intercooler Pipe!
