Congratulations you have installed the Agency Power Cold Air Intake on the Kia Stinger GT
Pretty disappointed with the QC on these to be honest, especially seeing the cost of them.
Firstly the air filters don’t fit through the holes with that useless piece of auto trim, one didnt fit through the hole with the trim removed (well fell off), i had to use a sharp exacto knife to make the holes larger, something i never should of had to do. Once i made the holes large enough for the filters to actually go through the holes the trim didn’t stay on at all due to the thickness of the plastic now, they didnt stay on from the outset, surely test the fit and glue the trim on then test the fit again, simple quality control, needless to say no trim and a gap around my filters. I will have to look for some better trim with a deeper slit so that it will actually fit the holes and then glue it.
The drivers side tube to me is to long as it pushes the hose clap into the hole the filter goes through and the filter is jammed against a part on the car.
“You may need to loosen the clamp at blow off valve to prevent tube from kinking.”
No I had to cut that hose as it was bent and kinked to almost closed once connected, had to take 20mm off.
If i have to go back to stock at some stage that hose i had to cut wont be long enough.
These things definitely need work to get anywhere near “Fits Kia Stinger” claim, yeah it fits once i had done everything i just said above.
So sorry to hear about these fitment issues. Could you send us some pictures of the issues you had so we can make proper adjustments on our end. You can email the photos to sales@agency-power.com and we will assess the issue and go from there.
no worries will do this weekend, sorry for the delay.
Please help… Also having similar issues… Factory hose had to be trimmed for blow off to even come close to not kinking, and the filters will NOT stay clamped on the pipe on either side . This install has also tripped a CEL. Basically a nightmare install thus far
What is your invoice number? I will have a rep reach out to you to assist with installation.
Good Afternoon
I purchased this kit for my 2018 Gt and the rubber seal on the heat shield will not stay on.
Can you send out a replacement for both the driver and passenger side as they will no longer stay on
Thank you
