Kia Hyundai Auto Repair or better known as KHAR Tunerz is a Korean car specialty shop. Located in Murrieta California, Khar Tunerz primarily works on Kia’s and Hyundai’s. This is not just your average shop though. Whether it be standard oil changes, transmission service, stance builds, or full-on track builds Khar Tunerz does it all. KHAR was developed almost ten years ago in 2010. Since then, you can find all types of Genesis Coupes, Kia Stingers, and many other Korean domestic market vehicles inside their shop. Although they specialize in kdm vehicles, that does not stop them from turning a wrench on anything else.
Most of the vehicles coming through the shop are for general maintenance or installation of aftermarket parts. Of the two owners, Nicholas Lario has one of the most iconic Kia Stingers in the streets currently. Nick was more than happy to provide us with his vehicle to support research and development of new parts for the singer after first being released. Being that the car was so new at the time and Nick was already in the modification process, we reached out to him and he willingly lent us his car for R&D. While he was focusing on carbon and exterior, we got to work developing some of the first aftermarket parts for the Stinger. With his help, these are the parts we were able to create:
Nick has built himself a group of hard-working individuals to manage the shop. Being as this is the beginning stages, there are only a handful of employees. Even with a small team they somehow manage shop flow efficiently and with precision.
Seeing the work put into his car reflects what kind of work would be done on yours as well. For only being in business for less than ten years, Khar has built quite the client-base. Being in California where the car scene is saturated, it can be difficult to maintain an automotive shop. Khar has kept its doors open since 2010 and the hinges haven’t stopped moving since then.
