Agency Power Wing Riser Installation Guide Ford Focus RS | Ford Focus ST
This guide is to assist with the installation of the Agency Power Wing Riser’s for the Ford Focus RS & ST
Step 1: Open rear hatch of vehicle, remove the center interior plastic trim located at the top of the rear hatch.
Step 2: With the trim panel removed, locate and remove the 3 bolts as shown in the image below. Step 3: Next remove the two torx bolts located on each side of the hatch.
Step 4: Carefully close the rear hatch and remove the two screws securing the 3rd brake light to the wing, pull the light out slightly to expose the wiring harness/connector. Disconnect the 3rd brake light and windshield washer hose.
Step 5: Remove the rear wing by carefully lifting up to free from the plastic retaining clips. We recommend having a friend assist during this step. Ensure that the wires/washer hose does not become snagged as you are removing the rear wing away from the vehicle.
Step 6: Place the wing upside down on a clean, soft surface that will not scratch the paint.
Step 7: Remove the plastic retaining clips from the wing by unscrewing them. These will no longer be needed with the wing risers in place. Step 8: Using the provided hardware mount the Agency Power Ring Risers to wing in the orientation as shown. Do not fully tighten the wing risers yet. You will need to fine tune the placement of the riser to match the holes on the hatch. Use the provided stickers to cover the clip hole openings.
Step 9: Next, test fit the wing onto the vehicle to ensured all the wing risers match up to holes on the hatch. Remove the wing and adjust the wing risers as needed. Once all the risers line up, remove the wing one last time and fully tighten the hardware. You can now install the wing back onto the vehicle. Use the hardware provided to complete the install. Refer to the steps above for re-installation of the wing.
What do I do about the 5 holes left by the plastic clips? I’ve seen in other riser kits they include sticker patches.
Just installed my kit! Looks awesome.
