Part of the fun of making and designing your own products, is gambling with the odds of something selling or not. When we started creating the harness bar for the 996/997 we had an inkling that there was a market for them. Boy were we right! The 996/997 bar nicely fit all models including the Carrera, Turbo, GT3, GT2. Due to that success we had with those, we went out on a limb to create some for the 991.

One of the great benefits of our Agency Power bolt-in Harness bar is that you don’t have to have it in the entire time. We learned from the 996/997 version and have altered this latest version slightly. We provided removable diagonal and horizontal bars in the center of the loop. This allowed for easy removal to access to the space behind the rear seats. That revelation was just the beginning to the list of improvements we made. You can live the dual life of weekend racer and still have room for passengers during the week.

On the 996/997 bar, you had to remove the front seats to install it. Initially we made it slightly lower to accommodate sunroof models,  but the chance of scratching something during install seemed probable. So with the 991 harness/ roll bar, we are making it more user friendly. Having created similar Agency Power items the 2013 Ford Focus ST and Scion FR-S, we learned how to make it super easy to install and quick to remove. This is due to the design making the top hoop connected to the b-pillars with a slip fit design and quick release pins. Using the lower seat belt mount on the b-pillar with a stout steel bracket, this allows for the seat to be position and reclined back far enough to make a comfortable ride for someone who’s 6’3″.  The other features customers are excited about is that the product can ship on regular Fedex and saves high shipping costs.

If you are looking for a FULL roll cage, this is not the product for you. This is for the weekend DE driver, wanting to have a little fun on the weekend and still have a daily driver.  We really feel like we’ve though of everything with this model of the Agency Power Bolt-In Roll/ Harness Bar.
