Agency Power Motor Mount Kit Install Polaris RZR 1000
How to Install the Agency Power Motor Mount Kit on the Polaris RZR XP | XP4 1000
Step 1: Starting on either the driver side or passenger side, remove the two 13mm nuts located on the underside of the motor mount.
Step 2: Next support the engine mount bar by using couple small wood blocks or a pry bar. Loosen the bolt on the center of the motor mount and remove from the RZR.
Step 3: Remove the two bolts from the factory motor mount. These are held in with a small retaining clip and can be tapped out. This retaining clip will no longer be needed for re-installation.
Step 4 : Insert the new Agency Power Motor Mount into place, re-use the hardware from the factory motor mount. If needed use a pry bar to align the bolt holes of both the motor mount bar and Agency Power Motor Mount. We recommend keeping the weight of the engine/trans off the Agency Power Motor Mount until the hardware is fully tight. Repeat these steps for the passenger side motor mount.
Step 5: In order to access the hardware for the rear center transmission mount you will need to remove the exhaust shield and rear muffler from the vehicle. To remove the exhaust shield remove the 4x Torx bolts and remove from the vehicle. Step 6: Remove the four exhaust hanger springs using an exhaust hook tool and remove the muffler from the vehicle. Depending on the year of your Polaris RZR 1000 you will need to unbolt the exhaust at the flange.
Step 7: With the exhaust out of the way you can now access the two bolts. Use a pry bar to support the engine and remove the hardware. Please note: The vehicle used in the this install guide had an aftermarket intake manifold and additional steps may be needed to remove the motor mount from the rzr.
Step 8: Insert the new Agency Power Motor/trans Mount into place, re-use the hardware from the factory motor mount. If needed use a pry bar to align the bolt holes of both the motor mount bar and Agency Power Motor Mount. We recommend keeping the weight of the engine/trans off the Agency Power Motor Mount until the hardware is fully tight.
