The enlarged intake tube increases airflow and features a matte black powder coat finish which improves the durability and styling. Moving to the aluminum plate, it sports a polyester mesh material called Frogzskin that’s hydrophobic and repels any water that splashes against it. While it is hydrophobic, it is not waterproof or submersible. The 4-ply silicone coupler included with the hose clamps and mounting hardware provides a tight seal which eliminates the chances of boost leaks.

Not only does the Agency Power intake increase your power output but it also allows the turbo to breathe much better than the factory. Flowing more air will improve efficiency at higher power as the stock intake chokes up the turbo when raising the boost pressure. Another issue with the stock intake is the filter allows fine dust particles to pass through which end up in the turbo and can significantly decrease its life expectancy.
