A blow off valve for the Mercedes 2.0L 4 cylinder or 3.0L V6 platform is a great upgrade to improve your vehicles performance and get that incredible turbo whoosh sound from your engine. The VR Performance blow off valve spacer has been engineered to fit between the turbocharger and the factory valve that releases pressure, also known as a “Priority Valve”. In a typical turbo configuration, the turbocharger pressure is recirculated which can cause harmful compressor surge or slow down the spooling of the turbo. Changing a blow off valve from recirculating to atmosphere venting has been a common practice in turbocharger systems. Because of the design of the Mercedes turbocharged engines, there is no adverse affects from making this upgrade. Made from billet 6061 aluminum which is precision CNC machined here in the USA, the new valve features 4 holes on either side that vent the turbocharger pressure to atmosphere between gear changes or when you let off the throttle. Anodized in black for a clean OEM look, the blow off valve spacer features a laser engraved VR Performance logo. The valve includes required o-rings for an air tight seal. Because there are no moving parts, this product does not require any maintenance or adjustments.

  This is just a spacer to allow pressure to release. Does not increase boost pressure or require a tune. Allows air to vent to atmosphere.

  Thanks for the interest. From some initial research, the C250 looks to use the a very similar M274 engine as the C300. We always recommend cross referencing OEM part numbers to be sure, but it looks like the spacer will fit the C250. Thanks again!

  It looks like the 3.0L in the C450 AMG has two bypass vales, one on each of the turbo chargers. Unfortunately I do not have a diagram or a picture of each on your vehicle, but you are able to find a diagram in the factory service manual. Thank you.

    This blow off valve spacer will fit the C300, but it does require two. Unfortunately though, this product has been discontinued.

  We have not confirmed fitment on the A220, but it is designed for the 2.0 engines. If your diverter valve is 3 bolts, it is possible that it might fit. Before purchasing, I would recommend removing the diverter valve and looking at the flange to confirm it is the same as our flange for the spacer.   Unfortunately, this will only fit the CLA200 and A200. The valves must be different between the models.
