Farewell to the Focus ST
The Focus ST was one of the funnest cars we’ve worked on with Vivid Racing. The body style needs so much work and the performance was a great foundation to build off of. Now that it has been built, gone to SEMA, been in magazines, it has now found it’s forever home. Somewhere in between being built and going to SEMA Vivid Racing drove it out to California, to test all the parts. Along the way they decided to have a little fun.
This shoot shows off the sound of our tri-tip exhaust and the rawness of the body extensions we put on it. Although they were painted over not long after this, we kind of liked seeing what it was, versus what we made it. That was never more present then when the car had the raw parts on it. The strakes on the diffuser are so aggressive, and really set it apart from every other car on the road. The sound and look of the Titanium tip exhaust are essential to the final product of this project car.
